Contractors Assistance Program Seminars
In keeping with its continuing commitment to provide growth opportunities for small businesses, including Established, Emerging, and Certified MBE/WBEs, the Indianapolis Airport Authority is pleased to announce the second season of the successful CAPS© program.
CAPS©, Contractors Assistance Program Seminars, is useful for any business performing work on any City or State project. However, whether or not you are involved on a project, CAPS© is focused on your economic development! CAPS© will cover a wide range of topics including the following: Taking your business to the next level; Finding bid packages; Working with prime contractors; Learning to prepare bid responses, and much more.
The program is free of charge to participants. Seminars and, new this year, workshops will be given by a diverse group of presenters with practical experience in their specific fields of work — including many who are currently working on the New Indianapolis Airport project. CAPS© will begin Wednesday, September 12, 2007, and run through March 2008. Each session will run from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m., on approximately the second and fourth Wednesday of each month, with an unstructured networking time both before and after the sessions.

of each month. An unstructured networking time will begin at 11 a.m., prior to each session – a perfect time for meeting other business owners and executives.

You have the option to register for all sessions now. The registration deadline for the first session is September 7th. Subsequent session deadlines will be one week prior to each seminar, if space remains available.
Conditions of Attendance: In the interest of all participants and presenters, all CAPS attendees shall agree to comply with silencing cell phones and refraining from use of PDAs, laptops, and other electronic equipment during sessions as a condition of participation in the sessions. Should any attendee need to use any electronic device during the session, those attendees agree to leave the session and use the hallway or food court for those purposes. No portion of any session may be videotaped, photographed, or recorded by anyone other than the IAA, the ISRG, or appointed affiliates. The IAA reserves the right to remove any person failing to comply with the Conditions of Attendance.
